Barcelona Interlude

After we aborted our plan to go to Mallorca after Bilbao (because, luggage, airports, etc.) We secured a five night home exchange back in Barcelona. It was the right thing to do, as we feel so comfortable there, and figure ground travel would be nice and uneventful. It was.

Plus, we got the chance to see Robert and Nina an extra time, Bob got more time in the studio, and we went to a beer festival in the Sant Antoní neighborhood. Plus enjoying some nice weather.

The home exchange apartment was in a neighborhood we’ve never been to, which was an opportunity to become familiar with more of the city. Fun stuff!

Wow!

The first sight I saw when coming out of the metro when arriving back in town.

Sichaun Hot Pot

Dinner out with Nina and Robert, not far from our apartment. Where you cook various foods in different flavors of broth. First time for us, second for the Strausses. It helps to do this a few times to become more efficient!

I got to do some fun playing at a table in Roser’s studio on a rainy Friday.

In Roser’s studio

Sant Antoní Neighborhood Festival

A craft brewers festival in the street, a wine and music event in the market plaza, and a fun walk through the slick renovated market.

A Walkabout

A Conservatory and Museum of Catalan History
