Events around the Virgen celebrations of the weekend
Thursday of this week, we were shopping in the market, and we saw the display of flowers with the virgen and child statue in the center of the market. Then we heart the music. Turns out this foreshadowed the weekend events coming up.

Friday evening we went out to a recommended place, a vermuteria. This one has hundreds of different vermuts (Catalan and Valencian word for vermouth) It was fun, and we would go back again, with a reservation for dinner.
We thought we were just going to go home and chill after that. But… on the way back we spotted a woman in full traditional folk dress, walking toward the big plaza. We had to follow to see what what happening!
