Missing bag comes home

carry on, my wayward son…

Our missing bag found its way to us on Thursday afternoon! It was a roller-coaster ride of emotions for me at times Monday through Wednesday night, but finally, Bob got an actual phone call early Thursday morning that it would be delivered to us between 2:30 and 5:30 pm! So I hung out in the apartment waiting. Bob was at the studio, and I busied myself with knitting. My anxiety kicked up around about 4:30 when there was still no bag, but then a few minutes later, the buzzer rang! The courier was here, and I grabbed the paperwork and rushed down the elevator to retrieve our wayward bag! Who knows where it’s been— it got quite a few tags added to it!

Lessons learned with this luggage experience:

  • Get AirTags for each bag— so we can track the whereabouts remotely

  • Pack an extra set of socks and underwear in carry on (duh)

  • Maybe arrange flights so there is more than one hour transfer between Seattle landing and Int’l flight departure
(I have a feeling that because we arrived at the completely other end of a huge airport and departed from the other end that could have been where the luggage snafu occurred.)

  • Just chill and relax—you’re in Barcelona!
