Madrid

It was a whirlwind holiday week in Madrid! We were with our friends John and Jeri, and sightseeing and eating good food was on the agenda. Bob and I haven’t been there in nine years, and it was even longer for J&J. Since 1992, and their belated honeymoon trip! So much has changed since then, Jeri said she could hardly recognize the city. Of course, none of us had been in the area we were staying in, so it was like we were visiting a new city.

I’ll tell the story with photos.

Restaurante Botín Tour and Dinner

Botín is the longest continuously running restaurant in Europe. It has a great history. Only two families have owned it since 1725.
